Film that changes every time you watch it to be released in UK cinemas

A new documentary about about musician and artist Brian Eno, which is different every time it’s shown will be released in UK cinemas on Friday 12 July.

The film will play in Picturehouse Cinemas across the country, with a different version of the film emerging on screen each day.

Gary Hustwit’s documentary employs technology to deliver a feature film that’s different each time it’s shown.

Hustwit and UK-based creative technologist Brendan Dawes have developed bespoke generative software designed to sequence scenes and create transitions out of the film’s interviews with Eno.

Each screening will feature different scenes, order, and music.
