Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters and Erin Docherty have begun filming Adolescence (w/t), a new four-part Netflix drama.

The series is being directed by Philip Berlanti, who worked with Graham on the short, feature and TV series versions of Boiling Point.

Like the film version of Boiling Point, each episode of Adolescence is being filmed in one continuous shot, holding focus on the main characters and the plot as it unfolds in real-time.

The series explores how a family’s world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller is arrested and charged with the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school.

Graham plays Jamie’s father and ‘appropriate adult’, Eddie Miller. Walters stars as Detective Inspector Bascombe, and Doherty is Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie’s case.
