As rehearsals are underway for the first-ever stage adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove, producers have released the first picture of Steve Coogan in the title role.

Coogan is also taking on the roles of President Merkin Muffley, Group Captain Lionel Mandrake and Major TJ Kong in the show.

He will be joined by Olivier Award-winner Giles Terera in the role of General Buck Turgisdon.

The show will play at Noël Coward Theatre in London’s West End beginning on Tuesday 8th October until Saturday 25 January 2025 before a limited engagement at Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from Wednesday 5 – Saturday 22 February 2025.
