Alicia Silverstone is set to reprise her role as Cher Horowitz in a new TV series that will be the sequel to Clueless.

The show is in development at US streamer Peacock (part of NBC so it will probably be picked up by Sky in the UK).

Plot details are being kept under wraps but it’s been confirmed the TV show will be a sequel to the classic ’90s movie.

There’s no word on whether any of Silverstone’s co-stars such as Paul Rudd will return.
