Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson will lead the cast of Apple TV’s drama series, Down Cemetery Road.

The show is based on Mick Herron’s book of the same name. Herron is also the author of Slough House book series which Apple has turned into Slow Horses.

When a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl disappears in the aftermath, neighbour Sarah Tucker (Wilson) becomes obsessed with finding her and enlists the help of private investigator Zoë Boehm (Thompson).

Zoë and Sarah suddenly find themselves in a complex conspiracy that reveals people long believed dead are still among the living, while the living are fast joining the dead.

The first two episodes will debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, October 29th, followed by new episodes every Wednesday until December 10.
