Films to watch out for – August to September
As the summer draws to a close and autumn fast approaches it’s time to say farewell to the big blockbusters and begin to prepare ourselves for the inevitable slide into awards season.
August to October is always a strange time in cinema as distributors move away from the big tent-pole movies into the more dramatic, kudos-likely fare. But, as always, there are plenty of films that are worth getting excited about.

Eddie’s memoirs
Eddie Izzard is writing his autobiography.
He’s signed a deal with an American publisher but it’s almost certain the book will be released in the UK too.
The untitled book is expected to cover his childhood and early life as well as his rise to fame in the UK and US.
The book is expected to be released in time for Christmas next year.
