Steve Jobs – trailer

Here’s our first look at Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs.

The film is directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin (who’s quite good at writing about tech geniuses). The cast also includes Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels.

Steve Jobs is released in the UK in November – which I think makes it an obvious contender for this year’s London Film Festival.

Winslet in talks for Jobs

Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet is in talks to play the lead female role in Jobs, the film about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

If she takes the role, Winslet will star alongside Michael Fassbender who is expected to star as Jobs. Seth Rogen is due to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniack.

The film is being directed by Danny Boyle and is written by Aaron Sorkin.

Fassbender as Steve Jobs?

Could Michael Fassbender finally be the actor who says yes to playing Apple boss Steve Jobs?

According to reports, Fassy is in talks to star in the drama which will be directed by Danny Boyle and is written by Aaron Sorkin – both Oscar winners.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale have both previously been said to be up for the role before both dropping out – which I find strange given the calibre of both the writer and director.

Will Fassbender stick with the project? We’ll just have to wait and see.
