Jack Davenport, Mille Gibson, Eleanor Tomlinson to star in new Forsyte Saga adaptation

US broadcaster PBS is bringing the Forsyte Saga back to the TV screen.

The show was originally adapted from John Galsworthy’s novel in 1967 by the BBC, and again in 2002 by ITV.

PBS has set an all-star cast for its version, which is due to begin filming in the UK next month according to Deadline.

It will star Francesca Annis as the family matriarch alongside Stephen Moyer as her eldest son.

The cast will also include Tuppence Middleton, Eleanor Tomlinson, Jack Davenport, Mille Gibson, and Susan Hampshire who starred in the BBC’s original adaptation.

No details yet on a UK broadcaster.
