Ian McKellen’s one-man show is heading to the West End for 80 performances from September.
McKellen will perform his run at the Harold Pinter Theatre, with all the funds going towards theatre charities.
So far on his tour McKellen has raised over £1 million for venues and organisations across the UK, with that number expected to exceed £2 million by the time the tour ends in August.
I was lucky enough to see one of the very earliest dates back in January and I have to say it was fantastic. The night includes a mix of anecdotes and acting from the likes of Tolkien, Shakespeare and more.
McKellen will be appearing at the Harold Pinter from 20 September to 5 January. Tickets for the West End run will go on sale on 14th June, including 80 tickets per performance priced at £10.
