Former England and outgoing Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is to write his memoirs.

Now you might find this an odd topic on a site that’s primarily about film and TV news but I am a HUGE Stevie fan. I have been in mourning since Stevie announced he was quitting Anfield back in January.

The book will be called Steven Gerrard: My Story and will look back at his amazing career playing in the Premier League and for his country.

Speaking about the book, Stevie said “I’m delighted to be working with Penguin and am looking forward to sharing my experiences with readers and fans. I hope to give them a book that they’ll enjoy and which will be a lasting record of my time playing for club and country.”

Steven Gerrard: My Story will be published on September 24. I’ll be first in the queue.
