Jonny Lee Miller is joining the cast of the fifth season of The Crown.

He’s been cast as former British prime minister John Major, who famously announced Charles and Diana’s separation in the House of Commons.

Filming on the new season is due to get underway next month with a brand new cast.

Imelda Staunton plays Queen Elizabeth, Lesley Manville is Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce will play Prince Philip, and Elizabeth Debicki features as Princess Diana.
