Season 1 of Empire finally drew to a close in the UK this week but in the U.S. anticipation is building for season 2.

The show became such a huge hit with American audiences that Fox decided to launch the new season in September, rather than after Christmas which it did with season 1. That also means season 2 will have more episodes so fans can spend even longer in the Lyons den.

To get fans excited, Fox have released a brand new poster to promote the new season featuring Terrence Howard and Taraji P Henson aka Lucious and Cookie. Looking at the poster it seems Cookie is ready to take charge!
