LucasFilm have announced a global unveiling of the official toys for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

For anyone who grew up playing with their own version of the Millennium Falcon or At-At Walker (ie me) – the anticipation of brand new Star Wars toys is huge.

So to celebrate, LucasFilm are going to unveil the range during a live global roll-out on September 3 ahead of release on what’s been dubbed Force Friday.

The launch will take place over 18 hours in 15 cities and 12 countries with a sort of rolling New Year’s Eve style celebration featuring top digital stars from the Maker Studios network all broadcast via YouTube.

“Star Wars toys have always played an important role in how our fans interact with the Saga,” said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.

“They’ve inspired multiple generations to relive the experience of the movies and to create new adventures all their own. These spectacular ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ products will continue that tradition.”

The graphic below shows when the toys will be unveiled around the world. Once all have been revealed at midnight LA time, they’re expected to go on sale immediately. Just in time to top everyone’s Christmas list (again, that might just be me).
