At LFF today (day five)

The Mob’s in town at LFF today as the festival hosts the gala screening of Black Mass.

Johnny Depp and Benedict Cumberbatch are both expected on the red carpet tonight, so expect to see them splashed all over the newspapers tomorrow.

Fellow Oscar-hopeful Brie Larson will be at the screening of her new film, Room. And Saorsie Ronan has an early start with her Screen Talk at BFI Southbank this morning.

Elisabeth Moss returns to the festival for the second time in 48 hours as she attends Queen of Earth at Hackney Picturehouse. She’s stepped behind the camera to serve as one of the film’s producers.

Also today is the screening of Listen to me Marlon, a documentary that uses hundreds of hours of recordings of Marlon Brando to tell his life story. Tom Hooper, Erdem Moralioglu, Chris McQuarrie, June Sarpong and Patrick Grant are expected in the audience.
