His Sherlock co-star’s done it, and now Andrew Scott will star in a production of Hamlet in 2017.

Shakespeare’s classic play will be staged at the Almeida Theatre in February 2017 (dates tba).

Juliet Stevenson will star opposite Scott as Gertrude, Hamlet’s mother. The production will be directed by Robert Icke.

Booking for Hamlet will open in the autumn.
