The cast of the BBC’s new Doctor Who spin-off Class have finally been confirmed.

The show will premiere on BBC Three later this year (and I suspect it’ll be shown on BBC Two as well).

The show will star Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins and Vivian Oparah. They will be joined by Katherine Kelly, as she takes the role of a teacher and powerful new presence at Coal Hill School.

Fans of Mr Selfridge will recognise both Austin and Kelly who played Gordon Selfridge and Lady Mae in the show.

I’m very intrigued as to why Kelly has her hand over her eye in the official photograph.
