The first image from upcoming sports drama The Battle of the Sexes has been released.

The film stars Emma Stone as Billie Jean King and Steve Carell as Bobby Riggs and the tennis players’ highly publicized 1973 exhibition match — which was dubbed the Battle of the Sexes — along with the personal battles they were facing off the tennis courts.

The famed matched began a global conversation, when at 29, world number two King beat the 55-year-old retired former Wimbledon champion Riggs.

The cast also includes Sarah Silverman, Alan Cumming, Andrea Riseborough, Elisabeth Shue and Wallace Langham.

It’s directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, who previously worked with Carell in Little Miss Sunshine.

Now word yet on a release date.
