The two lawyers who represented Steven Avery in Netflix’s Making a Murderer are to appear in conversation at the London Palladium.
Dean Strang and Jerry Buting, the defence attorneys for Steven Avery, will be at the London theatre on October 23.
The show became a huge hit after it was released on Netflix in December 2915 – I remember lots of friends tweeting about it during the Christmas break.
The London date is the latest in a tour from the lawyers, who will discuss the US criminal justice system as well as taking part in a Q&A session with the audience.
Making a Murderer was filmed over the course of 10 years and showed the release of Avery, following 18 years in prison, after a conviction for sexual assault and attempted murder was overturned in 2003. The docuseries showed how Avery was subsequently charged with the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach.
