Bryce Dallas Howard will attend a special preview of her new film Pete’s Dragon in London at the end of the month.

The actress will take part in a Q&A at the BFI Southbank on July 31. Tickets are on sale now via the BFI website.

The reimagining of the classic 70s film follows a forest ranger who finds a young boy called Pete who has lived in the wild for six years with Elliott, his dragon.

She and her family set out to discover more about who Pete really is and where Elliott has come from but a group of undesirables are set on capturing Elliott for themselves and won’t be stopped.

Robert Redford, Karl Urban and Wes Bentley also star in the film which is in UK cinemas from August 12.
