A new poster for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword features Charlie Hunnam as the King alongside his trusty long sword.

Hunnam will attend the film’s panel at Comic-Con on Saturday.

Warner Bros are hoping the film will launch their next big franchise with up to six films planned.

Legwnd of the Sword is described as a re-imagining of Arthurian legend. Believed to have been a 6th century King, Arthur defended Britain against Saxon invaders.

The cast also includes Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Jude Law, Eric Bana and Djimon Honsou.

The film will be released next year.
