Channel 4 have picked up the UK rights to new US drama This Is Us.

The show stars Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K Brown and is described as a “refreshingly honest and provocative series following a unique ensemble. As their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways, we find that several of them share the same birthday and so much more than anyone would expect”.

The comedy drama is written by Crazy, Stupid, Love creator Dan Fogelman.

Its trailer achieve more than 64 million Facebook views and 8.5 million views on YouTube before the show’s debut in the US this week.
