A whole gamut of celebs are at the BFI London Film Festival today from Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o to Miles Teller to Russell Tovey.
Lupita is at the gala screening of her latest film Queen of Katwe where she’ll be joined by co-star David Oyelowo (his second visit to LFF this year) and director Mira Nair.
Miles Teller and Aaron Eckhart are expected at the screening of their boxing drama, Bleed For This.
Comedy features heavily today with world premiere of the Julian Barrett scripted Mindhorn. He’ll be at the premiere alongside director Sean Foley and stars Russell Tovey, Essie Davis, Robin Morrissey, Jessica Barden, and Harriet Walter.
Also on the comedy front is Mascots, Christopher Guest’s new film for Netflix. I saw this yesterday and caught myself snorting with laughter. Not every scene hits but when they do they’re very funny. Guest will be at the screening alongside actors Jim Piddock, Tom Bennett and Kerry Godliman.
