The BFI London Film Festival goes sci-fi today with the gala screening of Arrival.
Stars Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner will be in London to attend the screening.
The film’s plot is about what happens when mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe.
An elite team, led by expert linguist Louise Banks (Adams), is brought together to investigate.
As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and, quite possibly, humanity.
Arrival has also garnered strong reviews at other film festivals so if you have tickets I think you’re in for a treat.
In a complete polar opposite, Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon joins director Terence Davies for the premiere of their new film, A Quiet Passion.
Nixon stars as poet Emily Dickinson in the drama and it follows her from her school days through to her later years as a reclusive, unrecognised artist.
