David Walliams will publish another book for children next month, this time titled The Midnight Gang.

“It is by far my most ambitious book, dealing with some serious themes in what I hope is an entertaining and amusing way,” said Walliams. “It tells the story of five children trapped in a hospital ward, who are all longing for adventure.”

Intriguingly, the cover promises a “free hospital dinner inside”.

The Midnight Gang will be published on November 3.
