More4 will begin showing Outlander from the very beginning later this month.

So far the epic drama has only been available to UK viewers via Amazon Prime.

The show is based in Diana Gabaldon’s nooks and follows the story of Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a married WWII combat nurse from 1945 who mysteriously falls back in time to 1743 where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world and her life is threatened.

When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

More4 will begin broadcasting the first series later this month.
