Benedict Cumberbatch’s Hamlet returns to UK cinemas

If if you missed it first time round, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Hamlet is returning to cinemas once again thanks to National Theatre Live.

The repeat screening will take place around the UK on October 5th. More details can be found on the NT Live website.

Originally staged at the Barbican Theatre in August 2015 and broadcast to cinemas in October of that year, the critically-acclaimed production became the fastest selling show in London theatre history for its 12 week sold out run.

It is currently the most-viewed National Theatre Live broadcast to date with a global audience of nearly 800,000 people.

The cast also includes Sian Brooke (who played Sherlock’s sister in the last series of the BBC drama) and Ciaran Hinds.
