British actress Gemma Arterton is playing Marilyn Monroe in a one-off comedy for Sky Arts.

Arterton is starring alongside James Purefoy in Marilyn Monroe and Billy Wilder which is part of the channel’s Urban Myths series.

The Monroe story is set during the making of Some Like It Hot.

The new Urban Myths series also includes When Bowie Met Bolan starring Jack Whitehall and The Dali and The Cooper with Noel Fielding as Alice Cooper.

No word yet on when we’ll get to see it.
