Oscar-nominee Saoirse Ronan will attend a special screening of her new film On Chesil Beach in London in May.

Ronan will join director Dominic Cooke and co-star Billy Howle at the screening which takes place at Curzon Mayfair on Tuesday 8th May.

Ian McEwan had adapted his own novel about love, sex and marriage.

It is summer 1962, Florence and Edward are just married and honeymooning on the dramatic coastline of Chesil Beach in Dorset. In thier stifling hotel underlying tensions between the young couple surface, casting unexpected shadows across wedding night.

I saw this at BFI London Film Festival last year. As you would expect, Ronan is fantastic and it delivers a real emotional punch.
