Here’s the first look at Alexander Skarsgard, Florence Pugh and Michael Shannon in the forthcoming BBC/AMC drama The Little Drummer Girl.

Based on the novel by John Le Carre the series stars Pugh as young actress Charlie who finds herself involved with an intriguing stranger while holidaying in Greece in the 1970s – but it soon becomes apparent that his intentions are far from romantic.

She ends up embroiled in a high-stakes plot – orchestrated by spymaster Kurtz (Shannon) – with the man called Becker (Skarsgård), who turns out to be an Israeli intelligence officer.

The cast also includes Charles Dance, Michael Moshonov, Charif Ghattas, Amir Khoury, Katherine Schüttler, Simona Brown and Max Irons.
