Is Hamilton heading to the big screen?

The answer if yes, but not in the way you think.

According to reports a bidding war has broken out for the rights to release a film of the stage production of Hamilton.

The Broadway version of the show was filmed back in 2016 when it started Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr, Philippa Soo and Jonathan Groff.

Apparently, Warner Bros, Twentieth Century Fox and Netflix are all chasing the film with a potential pricetag of $50 million.
