A national treasure and an Oscar-winner hit the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival today for the gala screening of The Favourite.

Olivia Colman and Emma Stone will be joined by co-stars Mark Gatiss, Nicholas Hoult and Joe Alwyn as well as director Yorgos Lanthimos.

Elsewhere, Ralph Fiennes attends the UK premiere of his latest film as a director, The White Crow.

And Maggie Gyllenhaal is in London for the European premiere of her latest film, The Kindergarten Teacher.
