Documentary about Michael Hutchence gets UK release date

A new documentary about INXS frontman Michael Hutchence will be released in the UK later this year.

Mystify: Michael Hutchence will arrive in cinemas on 18th October.

The film was nominated for Best Documentary at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, and is written and directed by Richard Lowenstein, who also directed the majority of both INXS and Hutchence’s music videos and the 1986 feature film, Dogs in Space, in which the signer played the lead.

The director has been given unprecedented access resulting in rare archive footage and intimate insights from friends, lovers, family, colleagues and Hutchence himself.

The film features interviews with Tina Hutchence, Rhett Hutchence, Garry Garry Beers, Kirk Pengilly, Michele Benett, Kylie Minoque, Helena Christensen, Bono, Kathy Lette and many more.
