The BBC has released the first images of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s special appearance in Mary Berry’s festive show, which will air on BBC One later this month.

William and Kate are taking part in A Berry Royal Christmas in order to shine the spotlight  at some of the charities they support.

Throughout the programme Mary Berry will also be cooking some of her favourite Christmas recipes with William and Kate getting their aprons on to join her in the kitchen.

The one-off festive special will culminate in a Christmas party, hosted by The Duke and Duchess, and some very special guests, including Nadiya Hussain, who will be reuniting with Mary Berry to help with the festive food.

A Berry Royal Christmas airs on Monday 16 December at 8.30pm on BBC One.
