Classic 1970s sitcom The Good Life is being adapted for the stage.
According to Baz Bamigboye, Katherine Parkinson will lead the cast of the new production which is due to open at Theatre Royal Bath in 2020.
Parkinson will play Barbara Good, as made famous by Felicity Kendall in the BBC series.
No word yet on who’ll be playing her husband Tom or their next door neighbours Margot and Jerry.
The Good Life tells the story of Tom Good, a 40-year-old London plastics designer, and his wife Barbara when they attempt to escape modern commercial living by “becoming totally self-sufficient” in their home in Surbiton.
