The Oneders (or The Wonders) from That Thing You Do are reuniting for one night only to raise funds for those affected by coronavirus.

Tom Everett Scott revealed he’ll be joining forces with costars/bandmates Steve Zahn, Ethan Embry, and Johnathon Schaech as well as unnamed special guests for a livestreamed watch party on 17th April, in support of MusicCares’ COVID-19 relief fund.

The film, directed by Tom Hanks (one of those special guests??) follows the rise and fall of the fictional one-hit-wonder group in the 1960s. Hanks also played the band’s manager, Mr White. He one of the first celebrities to announce he had contracted coronavirus.

Adam Schlesinger, who wrote the theme song for That Thing You Do died from complications of COVID-19 on 1st April.
