Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan are teaming up once again to write a new paranormal crime book series.

The Hollow Ones is the first book in the series, which follows rookie FBI agent Odessa Hardwicke.

The book will be published by Del Rey in the UK. Editor Sam Bradbury said: “Guillermo del Toro is one of my favourite storytellers—of any medium, and partnered with the superb Chuck Hogan, whose wonderful style, imagination and skill enlightens every scene in the book, this is a series I can’t wait to share with the world. Working with these two incredible talents on this fantastic and darkly wondrous paranormal crimes series is a career highlight.”

Previously, del Toro and Hogan wrote The Strain trilogy and the FX series for television.

The Hollow Ones will be published in the UK, America, and around the world on 4th August.
