A new stage musical adaptation of My Best Friend’s Wedding will debut in Manchester in 2021.

The show will star Alexandra Burke as Julianne Potter, the role played by Julia Roberts in the film.

It will open at the Manchester Palace Theatre on 20th September 2021 ahead of a UK and Ireland tour.

Further casting is yet to be announced.

The musical will feature some of legendary Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s best known songs, including I’ll Never Fall in Love Again, I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself, Walk on By, I Say A Little Prayer and What’s New Pussycat.
