Judi Dench, Miranda Hart and Alistair Campbell are among the contributors to a new book celebrating trees.
For The Love of Trees is a collection of essays compiled by author Vicky Allan and photographer Anna Deacon.
It will include photographs and personal essays from voices of “tree lovers” across the UK.
Contributors include Judi Dench, Miranda Hart and Alastair Campbell, as well as Chris Packham, Kirsty Wark, Professor Alice Roberts, Cameron McNeish, Sir Geoffrey Palmer and Isabella Tree.
Through the stories, the book will explore humanity’s relationship with trees and why trees are important to the future of the planet. Written during lockdown, the book will also explore the changing relationships with nature during this time.
It will be published on 29th October.
