Former Liverpool footballer turned TV pundit Jamie Carragher is writing about some of the greatest matches in a new book.
In The Greatest Games, Carragher explores the games that have shaped his love of football – as a player, as a pundit and as a lifelong fan.
The book will include insights into his own playing career and forensic analysis of the game, delivered with his “trademark humour and honesty.” Carragher will also be speaking to former teammates, rivals and managers to shine fresh light on some of the greatest matches played.
Carragher said: “I want to look back at those special games that, as a kid, made me fall in love with the game; tell some of the untold stories about the big games I was lucky enough to play in; and reflect on the great matches that, since retiring, I’ve been privileged to witness as a pundit and a fan.”
The Greatest Games will be published in hardback, audio and e-book on 12th November 2020.
