It won’t be out until late 2021, but the first look at new film A Boy Called Christmas has been released.

The film follows an ordinary young boy called Nikolas who sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. It is based on the book by Matt Haig.

Taking with him a headstrong reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny in this magical, comic and endearing story that proves nothing is impossible…

The film’s voice cast includes Maggie Smith, Jim Broadbent, Sally Hawkins, Toby Jones, Stephen Merchant, Michiel Huisman, Kristen Wiig, Zoe Colletti and newcomer Henry Lawfull. 

A Boy Called Christmas will be in cinemas in November 2021.
