Actor/comedian Richard Ayoade has signed a deal to write two books for children.
The first book is called The Book That No One Wanted To Read and is aimed at eight to 10-year-olds. It will be published in 2022.
It will be followed by a picture book entitled The Fairy Tale Fan Club.
Ayoade said: “I have been asked to provide a quote, for which I will be forever grateful, because it gives me the contracted opportunity to say, without exaggeration, that this may be the greatest publishing event in the history of fiction.”
