The first trailer for the big screen adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen has arrived.
The film, based on the huge Broadway hit, sees Ben Platt reprise his role as an anxious, isolated high schooler aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social-media age.
Plat stars alongside Amy Adams, Julianne Moore, Kaitlyn Dever, Amandla Stenberg, Colton Ryan, Nik Dodani, DeMarius Copes and Danny Pino.
The film is directed by Stephen Chbosky.

My favorite musical, but I don’t know if I want to see this. Musicals made into movies are often disappointing. That said, if that’s Colton Ryan as Connor I’d be interested to see how he does. And I notice they’ve made Ben look a lot younger.
