Billie Piper, Andrew Scott and Game of Thrones actress Bella Ramsey are set to star in a new film directed by Lena Dunham.

Catherine, Called Birdy will start filming in April.

According to Baz Bamigboye, the film is based on Karen Cushman’s children’s bestseller which is set in 1290 and follows the rebellious Catherine, who refuses to be wed to any of the oafs vying for her hand.

Scott is set to play Catherine’s father who wants to marry her off, with Piper cast as Catherine’s mother who tries to help her thwart the plan.
