Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough and Sindhu Vee have joined the cast of forthcoming Matilda film.
Graham and Riseborough will play Matilda’s parents, Mr and Mrs Wormwood. Vee has also been cast to play Mrs. Phelps the librarian.
They join Emma Thompson who’s playing Matilda’s headmistress Miss Trunchbull, Lashana Lynch (the kindly Miss Honey) and newcomer Alisha Weir as Matilda.
The film is based on Tim Minchin’s multi-award winning musical, and is being directed by Matthew Warchus.
It will be released on Netflix.
