The Shark is Broken to hunt the West End

A new play set behind the scenes on Jaws will open in London in October.

The Shark is Broken was originally due to debut in the West End in 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

The play will now open at the Ambassador’s Theatre on 9th October.

It is co-written by Ian Shaw, son of Robert Shaw, who will play his father in the production.

He will be joined by Liam Murray Scott as Richard Dreyfuss, and Demetri Goritsas as Roy Scheider.

The stage show follows the three actors as they sit on a boat and wait while their mechanical co-star is fixed.
