Fleabag star San Clifford is joining the cast of the third season of His Dark Materials.

The new season is based on Philip Pullman’s third book in the trilogy, The Amber Spyglass.

Clifford will lend her voice to Agent Salmakia, one of two Gaillivespian spies who are tiny humanoids.

Sherlock actor Jonathan Aris will voice the other spy, Commander Roke.

Production on the third season of His Dark Materials began earlier this year in the UK.
