Is SNL crossing the pond?

A British version of Saturday Night Live is reportedly in the works at Sky.

According to Deadline, a British version of the show is in the early stages of development at the broadcaster.

Sky is owned by Comcast, which is also the parent company of NBC, which broadcasts the show in the United States.

If the show does go ahead, it’s thought it will air in an earlier timeslot than its American cousin, which goes on air at 11.30pm.

We can only ask, what’s up with that?
