The release date of a collection of Alan Rickman’s handwritten diaries has been announced.

Madly, Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman will hit shelves on 18th October.

The actor wrote the diaries with the intention that they would be published, and by the time of his death in 2016, they included 27 volumes.

The collection has now been edited into a single volume, starting in the early 1990s.

The book includes an introduction by Kate Winslet, and Rickman’s wife Rima Horton has written an afterword.
