Joseph Fiennes is taking on the role of England football manager Gareth Southgate in a new play about his attempt to transform the national football team.

Dear England is on at the Olivier Theatre from 10 June to 11 August.

Other well-known footballers featured in the play include Jordan Pickford, Gary Lineker, Harry Kane, Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford, and Bukayo Saka.

Gina McKee is playing Pippa Grange, sports psychologist and Head of People and Team Development at The Football Association from 2017 until 2019.
