Channel 4 comedy Drop the Dead Donkey is making its stage debut and touring the UK.

Almost all of the original cast, including Stephen Tomkinson and Neil Pearson, are back.

The show’s creators have written the stage play which, like the TV series, is set in the world of TV news, which is now on air 24 hours a day. Channel 4 broadcast the TV series from 1990-98.

The show will open at Richmond Theatre at the end of January 2024, and tour the UK with stops including Bath and Woking.
